The Bechler family fonds contains records created and accumulated by the Bechler family documenting life in Berlin (later Kitchener). Records include textual records and graphic material, predominantly photographs from an album. Records also contain confirmation certificates, marriage certificate, press clippings, and cards.

Confirmation certificate granted to Gottfried Lehler from Lutherithen Kirche zu Luden. The certificate is written in German and the translation is as follows: Gottfried Lehler, born on the 1st of September in the year of 1869, confirmed on the 15th of April in the year of 1883 in the Lutheran Church of [ineligible], Waterloo, Ontario.

Confirmation certificate granted to Edward Bechler. Certificate signed by Reverend E. von Pirch from the Evangelical Lutheran Church, Berlin (later Kitchener) recognizing confirmation on March 25, 1888.

Marriage certificate of Edward Bechler and Anna Schmidt, married by Reverend Reinhold von Pirch on April 18, 1899 in Berlin (later Kitchener). Gustave Bechler and Minnie Schmidt are listed as witnesses to the marriage on the certificate.
