A log book published by the War Prisoners Aid of the Young Men's Christian Association in Geneva, Switzerland and given to Cameron Hill while he was a prisoner of war during the Second World War. Includes the original letter sent with the book to Cameron Hill by the Young Men's Christian Association.

Cameron filled the log book with poetry, diary entries, lists of rations, excerpts from correspondence, contact information for fellow prisoners of war that he met, and artwork completed by himself or other prisoners of war. In addition, Cameron pasted greeting cards, a photograph as well as Italian and German prisoner of war camp vouchers into the book.

Inside a pocket adhered to the back cover of the log book, Cameron stored additional items he accumulated before and after he was captured as a prisoner of war. This includes a Royal Canadian Air Force leave or pass form issued to Cameron in Halifax, Nova Scotia as well as cinema and opera house tickets for shows in England and a ticket from Iceland for an unknown event or activity. In addition, the pocket contains a Christmas card from the Vatican dated to 1942, an additional memorandum book filled with diary entries, Italian stamps, loose notes, a postal censorship slip, 1 Deutsche Mark, and a 10 Belgian franc banknote.

Collection includes photographs taken by Charles Dickens Creighton of Ontario, Quebec, British Columbia, France and England all around the turn of the 20th century. These include primarily landscapes and architectural features. Also included are 11 Kelsh plotter aerials of Kitchener from the 1960's.

Culinary and medicinal manuscript household recipe notebook including recipes for food (such as jelly and lemonade), medicinal remedies (such as an earache cure and a cough syrup), and household remedies (such as furniture cream and cement).

Contents are divided into sections and includes unbound pages with recipes inserted in the book. The first 25 pages are not numbered and include lists of contents. Pages 1 to 73 are numbered and contain culinary recipes, medicinal remedies, and household remedies. Pages 74 to 108 are numbered and left blank with a few pencil-written sums and calculations. Pages 109 to 112 were numbered and are missing. Pages 113 to 115 are numbered and contain culinary recipes and household remedies.

File consist of one notebook used as a diary by Albert L. Breithaupt while on a trip to Europe. The diary begins on June 30, in Germany, and ends August 5, 1891. Countries visited include Germany, Switzerland, France, England.

An embarkation card issued to Cameron Hill on May 11, 1945 for travel from a holding camp in Germany to England. Also includes a supplementary document titled, Appendix B, certifying that Cameron underwent a medical examination on May 13, 1945 in Bournemouth and is fit to proceed on leave and be repatriated to Canada.

Two identification tags issued to Cameron Hill during the Second World War when he was held in custody as a prisoner of war at Stalag XVIIIC (317), a German prisoner of war camp located in Markt Pongau, Austria from September 27, 1943 to November 25, 1943.

A sound recording of an interview conducted by Dr. Anne Millar with Aaron Francis, PhD candidate, for the Oral History Hub pilot project. The interview includes discussions about Francis's family background, their decision to come to Waterloo and the path that brought them here, as well as their thoughts about the institution and where it will be at 100 years old, in 2057. Trip scrapbook album kept by Lydia McEwan Woelfle for a Mediterranean cruise in 1930. Lydia, Wellington and Olive took the trip through the James Boring tour company. The scrapbook includes a trip booklet, a list of passengers, the daily cruise bulletins, photographs, ephemera, a diary and a book on the history of the near east. Countries visited included Portugal, Morocco, Spain, Gibraltar, Algeria, Tunisia, Malta, Greece, Turkey, Cyprus, Syria [Lebanon], Palestine, Egypt, Albania, Jugo Slavia [Montenegro, Croatia], Italy, Monaco, France and England.

File consists of one notebook used as a diary by Albert L. Breithaupt from June 10 to August 29, 1896, while on a trip to England, Scotland and Germany, with family members. The first entries are written in Berlin, Ontario. Of note is the entry for June 10, 1894 that gives an account of the last Sabbath in the "old church". Albert paraphrases the speech given by his mother, Catharine, with her recollections of the Sunday School in Berlin.

One photograph album owned by Percy S. Keeting (1918-1963) with 120 photographs of daily life in Britain including trips to Isle of Man, Scotland, and Wales.

The inclusion of photos pre-dating Keeting's birth in 1914 and his parents marriage in 1906, suggests the album may have been made by Keeting's mother, Florence Mary (nee Vickers), or an aunt. Annotations appear in two hands. The first is that of the creator, and the second is possibly that of Keeting's sister Florence Mary "Billie" or a cousin who seemingly left "daft" comments next to photos in which they appear.

Annotations included by the creator of the album appear throughout identifying locations and dates. Names appear only occasionally and include Norman [Keeting?]; Adeline, Dorothy/Dot, [Billie] or [Pollie], Stewart [Keeting], Kathleen, and Annie.

Wilson, and other members of the Wilson family.
