The cards were sold by Beyond Curie as part of a 42-card set each featuring a small description about a different scientist or technologist. The Donna Strickland card was card number 42. A number of clippings and typescript notes in this file document the contributions of Louise Eddy to the YMCA movement and to the Morgan County League of Women Voters, the American Association of University Women, Church Women United and the Board of the Sherwood Eddy Memorial YMCA. This file also includes personal correspondence received by Clare Clark from Louise Eddy in 1981.

Also contained in this file are clippings relating to the lifetime achievements of Dr. Sherwood Eddy. Other materials relating to Dr. Sherwood Eddy include a leaflet on the Sherwood Eddy Seminar of 1957, as well as a Symposium which took place in 1963 to pay tribute to the late Sherwood Eddy.
