        A chocolate bar wrapper created by Vincent Mourou, co-founder of Marou chocolate and son of Gérard Mourou, with the help of co-founder Sam Maruta and Rice Creative partner Joshua Breidenbach to commemorate Gérard Mourou (Haut-collège of École Polytechnique) and optical physicist Donna Strickland’s Nobel Prize in Physics for their Chirped Pulse Amplification (CPA) technique. The design of the wrapper featured Mourou and Strickland’s condensed three-page prize winning paper with much of the technical jargon replaced with the word “chocolate.”

        The wrapper in the file only includes the altered copy of the three-page paper that was wrapped around the gold foil lining the chocolate bar. It does not include the additional two-sided enclosure that featured white paper with gold ink listing the name of the chocolate bar, the event, and the flavour inside on the exterior side and luminescent triangles on the interior side.

        A flyer invitation for the Kitchener-Waterloo Nomination Night held at the Transylvania Club in Kitchener, Ontario on October 19, 2000. This event was held to nominate a candidate to represent the Liberal Party in the riding of Kitchener-Waterloo in the 2000 Canadian federal election. The speaker and special guest of the event was Shelia Copps, Member of Parliament representing Hamilton East and Minister of Canadian Heritage. The flyer features a picture of Andrew Telegdi on the front and a form for individuals to submit if they wanted to participate in Telegdi’s subsequent election campaign on the back.

        A black and gold ribbon bearing the designation “Orientation Committee” and featuring an illustration of the cartoon Watfor. The ribbon was given to all members of the Orientation Committee at the University of Waterloo in 1968 including Jim Keron. The committee operated under the Federation of Students (now the Waterloo Undergraduate Student Association or WUSA) and was tasked with coordinating the various events and activities for incoming students.

        The file also contains a button that is affixed to the ribbon bearing the inscription "U of W FROSH," accompanied by a handwritten insert that reads "FROSH POWER” as well as a black and gold beanie featuring the University of Waterloo crest and motto. These items were initially distributed to incoming students in 1968, but Keron obtained additional ones from the Federation of Students office. Keron and friends posed as new students, commonly referred to as frosh, and intentionally broke orientation rules such as ‘no sitting on the grass’ in an effort to stage a mock frosh revolt.
