General note
Photo caption from published version of 46-273_001 and photos missing from envelope: "ROMANCE RECALLED - The little Anglican Church in Elora, shown in the top photo [46-273_001], possesses a treasured memento of past history, a set of communion silver, shown in the lower photo, a gift of Florence Nightingale to Rev. John Smithurst, at one time rector of the Elora church. The famous nurse sent the present to her cousin lover, Rev. Mr. Smithurst, who came to Canada to forget, after Miss Nightingale was forbidden by her parents to marry her cousin. The set now rests in a special vault in the church."
