File consists of one hand made 17 x 11 cm 40 page accordion style idea book used by Tony Urquhart. This idea book was kept during a 2008 trip to France on the fiftieth anniversary of Urquhart's first visit to France. The book is bound in blue cloth and the front and back covers both have small circle paintings. The back painting reads "Part 2 Back."
The idea book includes approximately 29 pages of drawings, approximately 20 of which have annotations of notes. Also includes 8 pages of handwritten notes and 5 of glued in ephemera. Note that many pages have a combination of media.
File consists of one handmade 13 x 10 cm 180 page idea book created and used by Tony Urquhart. The book is bound in orange paper and the cover has a small circle drawing with the initials T.U. and the dates 2008-2009.
The idea book includes approximately 107 pages with sketches, of which approximately 39 also have annotations or notes. The rest of the book is made up of approximately 20 pages of handwritten notes, as well as 21 pages of glued in ephemera. The ephemera includes early photographs from Urquhart's life include one of a drawing trip in 1953 and an early photo of his wife Jane Urquhart. Note that many pages have a combination of media.
Material accumulated by Andrew Telegdi during his tenure as a Member of Parliament when he participated in the Making Canada Inclusive and Safe conference and forum as a panelist speaker. Telegdi spoke as a panelist for two sessions on borders, bridges, and building safe communities. Records include an information sheet containing details about Ashely Smith’s case as well as a list of questions for Stockwell Day, then Member of Parliament and Minister of Public Safety, and Rob Nicholson, then Minister of Justice and Attorney General of Canada. The questions focus on Ashley Smith and the conditions of her confinement and death as well as the Canadian prison system. Additionally, the file includes a report containing copies of news articles from media outlets across Canada related to Ashley Smith. It is not known how or why Andrew Telegdi acquired these records.
