Credit union.

File consists of 71 photographs relating to the Electrohome Employees Credit Union. Includes snapshots of an open house at the Credit Union, of a staff appreciation dinner, and of the Credit Union building; snapshots of Credit Union staff and the board of directors; and portraits of some staff members. Includes a snapshot of Carl A. Pollock at the open house. Some photographs include descriptions on verso, and some have tracing paper taped to them. Duplicate photographs may be present.

File consists of 13 photographs relating to events and activities in the Kitchener-Waterloo community in which Electrohome or CKCO-TV (Central Ontario Television Limited) played a role. Includes photographs of CKCO-TV camera operators and commentators at Queen Elizabeth's visit to Canada in June, 1973, and of W.D. McGregor being presented to Her Majesty; photographs of Prime Minister Trudeau visiting the CKCO-TV studio and meeting Carl A. Pollock; and photographs of Miss Oktoberfest, John A. Pollock presenting a cheque, and other subjects. File also includes a letter, a memorandum, and a typed news story outline about the Royal Visit.

City Councillor, 1938-1949.

Three clippings regarding Leavine in his capacity an alderman in the 1940s. One from the Kitchener Daily Record, dated Tuesday, December 31, 1940, reports that Leavine had been named chairman of the finance committee of City Council at the pre-inaugural caucus held on Dec. 30, 1940. Another, also from the Record, dated December 8, 1942 includes names and portraits of Kichener's newly elected 1943 city council, including Leavine. The final clipping is undated and outlines the results of the municipal election in Kitchener during which Leavine was once again elected to city council by 6,169 votes, receiving more votes than any other individual elected to the Kitchener council that year.
