Series consists primarily of issues of the newsletter produced by the association for its membership. The newsletter contains association reports, announcements of upcoming events and exhibitions, information and tips on art techniques and materials, reports from other art associations and organizations, advertisements, etc. Most issues also contain a list of the association executive and advisory directors. Series includes issues of the Five Counties Art Association Bulletin (1955-1964), Central Ontario Art Association Bulletin (1964-1970), and the Central Ontario Art Association Newsletter (1982-1998). Series also includes page proofs (i.e. before photocopying) of newsletter issues (1982-1998), correspondence and memoranda, brochures and flyers, photographs, and handwritten notes. It is not clear whether every issue of the newsletter produced is present in the series.

Series consists of material accumulated by Ross Dixon relating to the activities of Westmont Enterprises Limited, a holding company that Ross Dixon formed ca. 1953 for the Westmount Construction Company and other subsidiary companies as well as rental properties. One of these subidiary companies was Jasco, a manufacturer of aluminum windows and doors in Baden, Ontario.

Series consists mainly of material relating to the advertising and sale of real estate in Kitchener and Waterloo, as well as the surrounding region; and real estate and rental properties mainly in the Belmont neighbourhood. Collective agreements from other organizations, presumably used by the Schneider Employees' Association as reference for preparing their own collective agreements. Includes those from the Kitchener-Waterloo area, as well as from across Canada, and many that related to the meat preparation and packaging industries.

Consists of "historic" original and duplicate slides belonging to the Grand River Conservation Commission, that depict various aspects of its operations including reforestation, flood regulation, general maintenance, nursery, and parks and recreation. Some of the material was probably accumulated and used by Robert Lovell, Public Relations Manager from 1963-1988.

Series consists of moving images relating to various aspects of Electrohome. Many of the items were created for the purposes of public relations, sales and marketing, and advertising and promotion, as well as to document some of the company's facilities, operations, and history. Subjects include: company presentations and reports; meetings; product presentations and demonstrations; promotional material; footage relating to services provided by Electrohome for NASA at the John F. Kennedy Space Centre for the launch of space shuttles in the early 1980s; CKCO-TV news footage relating to Electrohome, the Pollocks, and other senior management;

Series consists of one scrapbook that was used to record the history of The Dare Company Limited, Major Foods Limited, Dare Foods Limited, and subsidiary companies. The scrapbook contains newspaper and magazine advertisements, new product announcements, appointment notices, and article clippings. The date and source of each clipping is noted. The scrapbook also includes samples of product packaging, articles on the opening of the biscuit plant in Surrey, B.C., and 3 black and white photographs. The scrapbook was most likely produced at the Kitchener head office and is organized chronologically.

Series consists of advertisements that were produced for radio and includes auditions by performers. Advertisements were produced by J. Walter Thompson Ltd., Newberry Sound Studio Co. Ltd., Custom Advertiser’s Commercials, and D’Arcy Masius Benton & Bowles Canada Inc. Series includes recordings of “Dream Sweet Dare,” “Lemon Creme Jingle,” and “The Magic Name is Dare.” Series consists of audio discs and includes audio reels and an audio cassette.

Correspondence

Series is comprised of correspondence between Paul S. Burtness and Warren U. Ober and others, primarily military figures associated with the U.S. Forces during World War II, and in specific those who had knowledge of the event surrounding the attack on Pearl Harbor. The letters were received during the course of research by Burtness and Ober into the events of the attack on Pearl Harbor, which ultimately culminated in their book "The Puzzle of Pearl Harbor." Includes ms. and ts. letters from generals, admirals and lieutenants as well as a Pearl Harbor historian and the secretary to John F. Kenndy.
