Photo caption from published versions of missing photos [no suitable substitutes]: "BUMPY BUMPETY-BUMP - Sections of King St., both in Kitchener and Waterloo, are potted with holes, the result of heavy traffic and winter wear. Snow and rain have left them in poor condition, especially along streetcar tracks. Top is a section on King St. near Kent Ave. intersection in Kitchener. Lower photo shows deep holes and ruts at King and Allan Streets intersection in Waterloo. Some sections of the street are now under repair."
