Background : petition on acid rain.

File consists of material relating to the causes and effects of acid rain as well as potential action in response to the problem. Includes reports, fact sheets, and pamphlets published by the Ontario Ministry of the Environment, Environment Canada, the Great Lakes Science Advisory Board, and the United States-Canada Research Consultation Group on the Long-Range Transport of Air Pollutants; a children's colouring and story book; and notes and handouts created and collected by Judy Godfrey at a citizen's conference on acid rain (Action Seminar on Acid Precipitation). A wanderbuch served as both a passport and a resume and has pages for local authorities to give approval to work and for employers to make statements about the worker's qualifications. Hailer worked in various cities across Germany including Durlach, Muhlburg, and Kehl.

Manuscript letter from Alison Donnelly, Records Secretary of the Thames Valley [New Zealand] branch of the W.C.W. explaining the rationale for the donation of a book, which is never named, to the Aberdeen Memorial Library because of its focus on men.
