Nesika : a journal devoted to the land claims movement.

Two copies of Nesika, a journal published by the United Native Nations (formerly the B.C. Association of Non Status Indians) in March/April 1976 and May 1976 respectively. Both issues contain articles about the life and career of Andrew (Andy Paull) using information derived from an unpublished 400 page doctoral thesis written by E Palmer Patterson. The issues published in March/April 1976 also contains a feature article about Northwest Territories land claims. The periodicals were originally housed in a package titled, Tongass Tlingit: Tongass at Ft. Simpson. The term Tongass is an anglicized variant name for the Taantʼa Ḵwáan. Fort Simpson, BC is now known as Lax-Kwʼalaams, BC.

Correspondence primarily between members of the Sommer family. Includes letters sent between Gisela Sommer and Ulrich Sommer that were written while Gisela visited her parents in Germany. Of special interest is a letter by Ulrich to Gisela that describes his experience attending Barker Fairley’s birthday celebration at University College in Toronto, Ontario on May 21, 1986. Records include letters, greeting cards, postcards, funeral invitations, and photographs of family members.

File consists of photographs and negatives of Electrohome plants and product testing facilities. Includes photographs of the Morristown, TN, plant; the Electrohome (U.S.A.) Two copies of an information sheet for bowlers participating in the ninth annual bowlathon presented by Youth in Conflict with the Law and Community Justice Initiatives. The bowlathon was held at Victoria Bowlerama in Kitchener, Ontario and was intended to raise money for Youth in Conflict with the Law and Community Justice Initiatives. Money was collected through the cost for bowlers to participate and sponsors pledging money to support a particular bowler. Both copies of the information sheet contain handwritten notes on the verso.
