Series consists of material created and accumulated by John S. Anthes and material accumulated by Talmon Henry Rieder and Martha Rieder during the process of settling his estate. Some of the latter material relates to the administration and eventual sale of the Anthes Furniture Company. Series includes correspondence, agreements, wills, estate statements, financial statements of the Anthes Furniture Company, share certificates, an accounting journal, a cemetary map and grant of burial lots, a marriage certificate, and other material.

Charles E. Greb : Ontario Summer Games

Series consists of material relating to the Ontario Summer Games, held in Waterloo on August 26-29, 1977, and also includes some material relating to the City of Waterloo's bid to host the 1981 Canada Summer Games. Includes press clippings, scrapbooks, ephemera, promotional material, correspondence, and other material. Charles E. Greb was Chairman of the Ontario Summer Games committee from 1975-1977, and in this role also sat on the Canada Summer Games bid submission committee.

File consists of architectural drawings prepared for the Westmount Construction Company. Includes mainly house plans but also some plans for an apartment building and several commercial buildings. Many of the drawings do not include the creator's name, but some were prepared by C.E. Voelker, N.O Hipel (Preston), J. Crebolder, and others. A small number of drawings were mass-produced (published in magazines).

Many drawings contain handwritten annotations; some are original plans and some are revisions to plans. The construction jobs for the Westmount Construction Company appear to have been classified as either "residential" or "miscellaneous" and in each category were generally assigned a Job # in chronological order. A log of jobs was kept and can be found in Series 4, File 250. There are duplicate drawings corresponding with many of the job numbers.

Includes material relating to correspondence courses, conferences, and research activities of the Independent Biscuit Manufacturers' Company of Chicago; recipe books containing cookie and cracker formulae used at Dare and possibly other companies (Perrin's Forest City Confectionery and Biscuit Works in London Ontario, Paulin-Chambers Company in Winnipeg, Manitoba); and material relating to the ingredients and manufacture of cookies and crackers.

Public Relations Working Files : Electrohome Design Lecture Series

Series consists of records relating to the planning and organization of and publicity for the Electrohome Design Lecture Series held in March, 1973 and in October, 1974. The lectures, held to inform and educate entrepreneurs and designers in manufacturing and the general public about the effective use of industrial design, were planned, implemented, and sponsored by Electrohome, and conducted in co-operation with the National Design Council, the Office of Design, Department of Industry, Trade and Commerce, and the Association of Canadian Industrial Designers.

The 1973 series opened at the University of Waterloo, followed by lectures at the University of Montreal, the University of British Columbia, and the University of Manitoba. The 1974 series included lectures at the University of Toronto, the University of Manitoba, and the University of Montreal.
