General note
GA406-2_001 appeared on Page 23 of the Friday, September 14, 1973 (v.14, n.10) edition of the newspaper as part of the article: "Man mauled while 1000's watch".
General note
Photo caption from published version of GA406-2_001: "The unidentified man was repeatedly attacked and roughed up by a gang of assailants while thousands of apathetic citizens watched from a distance and a group of the victim's friends stood by at closer range, neither group willing to get involved and help the man. One onlooker, Wally Delahey, deplored the public's unwillingness to get involved anymore when this sort of situation occurs. Police refused to disclose whether or not the victim had been sexually molested."
