Piikani Nation (formerly the Peigan Nation) is a First Nation representing Canadian Indigenous peoples known as the Northern Piikani (in Blackfoot: Aapátohsipikáni) or simply the Peigan (Piikáni or Pekuni). They are one of three nations comprising the Blackfoot Confederacy along with the Siksika ("Blackfoot"), and the Kainai or Kainah ("Blood").
The Kainai Nation (or Káínawa, or Blood Tribe) is a First Nations band government in southern Alberta, Canada. Along with the Piikani and Siksika Nations, they make up the Blackfoot Confederacy.
