    Biographical history

The Student Alumni Association (SAA) was a volunteer student organization overseen by the Office of Alumni Affairs dedicated to strengthening connections between students, alumni, and the University of Waterloo, while fostering lifelong alumni engagement and enhancing student life. The association’s initiatives included the establishment of the Alumni Lane campaign, the distribution of final exam survival kits, serving as ambassadors during campus events, conducting campus tours, and hosting a variety of events such as dance-a-thons and book sales.

    Custodial history

    Scope and content

Four photographs printed on computer paper, likely documenting activities organized or supported by the Student Alumni Association (SAA). The photographs are unidentified but depict a variety of events and participants, including Pounce de Lion embracing a child, individuals participating in an outdoor game on a muddy field near what appear to be volleyball nets, and participants competing in a game involving the removal of shaving cream from a balloon. The fourth photograph is a portrait of a student posing with an award who has been identified in other sources as Jeff Stransky, the first Canadian student to receive the District II Student Alumni Association/Student Foundation (SAA/SF) most outstanding member award. The award was presented to Stransky in 1993.
