General note
Money belts were used to carry money or other personal items and valuables. Money belts were not typically issued to aircrew as part of their kit by the Royal Canadian Air Force or the Royal Air Force. These belts were custom made for or by an individual.
Physical description
The money belt is made from brown leather and has four pockets fastened with snaps. In addition, the belt has two horizontal adjustable leather straps to secure the belt around the wearer's waist. Cameron Hill's name and military identification number are printed on the belt.
