Sound Recordings

Series consists of audio cassettes for the Kitchener and Waterloo Community Foundation. Includes professional growth cassettes produced by California : Audio Archives International Inc., interviews with Kitchener and Waterloo Community Foundation staff, an excerpt from Jerr Boschee's presentation at the National Leadership Forum, and a radio spot from CKWR FM. The majority of cassettes consist of interviews with past presidents of the Kitchener and Waterloo Community Foundation.

Company History and Anniversaries

Series consists of records relating to the celebration of Electrohome's anniversaries and to the history of the company. Includes material relating to the planning, organization, and publicity of the company's 40th, 50th, 60th, 70th, 75th, and 90th anniversaries; material relating to the recording of company history; and material relating to subsidiary and other affiliated companies. Series also includes material collected and used by John Koegler in his role as company historian, which he assumed ca. 1956.

Includes correspondence, memoranda, meeting minutes, ephemera, press clippings, ms. and typed notes, photographs, speeches, programs and schedules, fliers, brochures, ms. and typed histories, and other material. Some of the anniversary-related files were likely compiled and used in the planning of subsequent anniversary celebrations.

Interviews.

Series consists of cassette tapes of interviews conducted with Jerzy Pandera. The interviews were done by Aneta Magolon as part of her Honours BA in History. The interviews are primarily concerned with Pindera's early life and life during the Holocaust, but also discuss his founding of the German exchange program at the University of Waterloo.

Series consists of categorized hanging pages and boxes of slides primarily concerned with natural features, buildings and programs associated with Grand River Conservation Authority conservation areas. Also contains slides relating to GRCA water management and land use programs and general topics such as conservation techniques, educational programs and the Grand Valley Conservation Foundation.

The slides are organized topically in hanging pages. A ts. listing of the slide collection by topic including alphabetical codes to the storage system is included. The slides are in no particular order within each topical section; some of the slides are not present.

Leavine's election as Mayor of Kitchener in 1949. Also included are clippings from after he died in 1958, outlining his professional accomplishments and impact on the community.

Robert Alden Sanborn : Writing

Series predominantly consists of type- and manuscripts drafts written by Robert Alden Sanborn. Focused primarily on the social development of two young girls referred to as "Little Anna" and "Bunty" the narrative drafts include extensive revision annotations. Also in the series are draft letters regarding a child model named Carol and children in the writing of Lewis Carroll, as well as poems written by Sandborn and his mother Mary Farley Sanborn.

Series consists of published works and typescripts, one incomplete, written by Mary Farley Sanborn. They include the story Valor Ranch and pieces of poetry that appeared in various literary publications.
