Notebook containing speech notes by Mayor Leavine related to a number of events he attended from 1950-1951. It includes speeches made by Leavine in 1950 at the official opening of a bus terminal in Kitchener; speeches given on the occasion of the opening of the baseball season; and at the opening of a new hospital. It also includes speech notes for graduation ceremonies at Waterloo College and at St. Mary's Hospital in 1950, as well as a speech made by the Leavine on Decoration Day in June, 1950, and addresses made by him on Labour Day in 1950 and 1951. Notebook also appears to contain notes taken by Leavine at meetings of the city's boards and commissions.
