Motz, William John.

File consists of four snapshots and two portraits of William John Motz. The snapshots show him in Nassau Bahamas, at a dinner, and holding two children outside of the family home (possibly his grandchildren William John and John Edward).

Copy negative of old photograph printed in a book showing a decorated building with a large crowd of people at front. The caption under the reads: "The First Saengerfest in Berlin, 1876. Building at Corner of King and Water St., ca. 1900.

Photographs of a commercial building at the corner of King and Water taken decades apart. The first, from the 1900s, is a copy of a photo of the building when occuped The Berlin Granite & Marble Works. The second, taken in 1947, should the building occupied by TNT. Surplus Ltd.

Royal Visit

File contains negatives depicting Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip's visit to Kitchener, as well as the re-dedication ceremony of the Kitchener cenotaph, during the Royal Tour of Ontario in 1973. Scenes include the Queen greeting various dignitaries including the Kitchener mayor, archdeacons, reverends, and veterans. Also included are views of the surrounding area and gathered crowd, as well as the Oxlea Tower, the Kitchener's Farmers’ Market and panorama shots of the event.

Circus Parade, King Near Benton.

Copy negatives of elephants walking down city streets. The first is of an old photograph of elephants walking down a city street captioned: "Circus Day in Berlin". Caption accompanying negative reads: "1) Circus Day in Berlin nr p/o at Benton." The second is of elephants walking down a city street, taken from behind, while passing the Market Hotel accompanied by a caption that reads: "5) circus parade king near benton 1904". File consists of one typescript essay by John Brown titled "Where La Salle met Joliet" which details the meeting of the two explorers and the settlement of Otinawattawa. Also includes three photographs of the settlement. [Settlement believed to be a Neutral Nation settlement North of what is now Hamilton].

RMS history photos.

File consists of photographs of the products, facilities, and people of RMS from 1918 until the late 1960's or early 1970's. Includes photographs of the products manufactured at RMS; photographs of the RMS facilities, including interior and exterior shots, as well as some photographs taken at other Uniroyal facilities (e.g. St. Jerome, Elmira); and photographs (including group portraits) of employees in various departments, such as office staff, engineering & drafting, tool makers, and the operating council, and employees at work.

Some photographs were taken for use in company publications and sales and marketing material. File also includes some contact prints and one page of ms. notes. Some photographs include ms. annotations on verso. Some duplicate photographs are present.
