Six copies of cards featuring an image of Donna Strickland designed by Beyond Curie, a design project celebrating women in STEM. The card features an image of Strickland using a piece of equipment, possibly a chirped pulse laser apparatus. The cards were sold by Beyond Curie as part of a 42-card set each featuring a small description about a different scientist or technologist. The Donna Strickland card was card number 42. File also includes four envelopes.

File consists of a scrapbook kept by William John Motz with photographs and ephemera from the Canadian newspaper tour of Europe from June 6th-July 26th, 1929. The tour visited: Paris, Chester, Windsor, Versailles, The Trossachs, Amiens, Vienna, Vimy, Albert, Prague, Berlin, Brussels, The Hague, Birmingham, Ayr, Scheveningen, London, Hampton, Hever, Kenliworth, Warwick, Stratford, Chester, Wales, Blackpool, Mellrose, Edinburgh, Loch Lomond, Inversaid, Dumfries, Liverpool and others.

The majority of the archives of the Concordia Club were destroyed either as a result of the ransacking of the club by the 118th Batallion in 1916, or as a result of the fire of November 17, 1971. As a result the earliest records of Concordia have largely been lost forever. A very small number of items can be traced back to the Concordia Male Choir (1873-1914). These take the form of two items of correspondence, programs for the "Sängerfests", clippings, and photographs. A small number of archival records also can be found which belonged to the "Deutscher Club, Kitchener" (1925-1930), and include a set of house rules, letters patent, and photographs. Some records from the 1930s have also been preserved to this day, and include artifacts, clippings, legal documents, a membership list, photographs, and programs of events. However, the majority of the materials date from the 1950s onwards. These materials document the history of the Concordia Club since the 1950s, and include artifacts, audiovisual material, clippings, correspondence, ephemera, financial records, legal documents, membership records, minutes of meetings, photographs, publications, and scrapbooks.

Material created or accumulated by Andrew Telegdi during his campaign to be elected as a Member of Parliament, representing the Liberal Party in the riding of Waterloo in the 1993 Canadian federal election. Records include a copy of the Telegdi Report (volume 1, fall 1993), articles, speech transcripts, proposed budgets, brochures, flyers, and business cards distributed to constituents, and other textual material. Also contains signed correspondence including letters of congratulations received by Telegdi after he was elected from constituents, fellow politicians such as Jean Chrétien, then Leader of the Liberal Party and Leader of the Opposition, and community leaders such as Ron George, then National Chief of the Native Council of Canada (now the Congress of Aboriginal Peoples).

Four receipts issued to Cameron Hill while he was temporarily stationed on the Isle of Man with leave to Bournemouth, England between May 11, 1945 and May 31, 1945.

Two of the receipts are from James Lay & Co. Limited, a clothier located in Douglas, the capital town of the Isle of Man for the purchase of a pair of pajamas and two suits. One receipt is for Cameron's tab at the Officer's Mess, R.C.A.F. Station in the town of Bournemouth dated May 29, 1945. One receipt is possibly for a hotel room or a similar accommodation also dated May 29, 1945.

A berthing card and meal card issued to Cameron Hill during the Second World War likely when he traveled on a troopship sailing from Halifax Harbour in Halifax, Nova Scotia to Liverpool, England between August and September 1941.

The berthing card indicates that Cameron was assigned to cabin S22, in section 3 of the Sports deck. The meal card indicates that Cameron was assigned to eat first meal (breakfast) during the second sitting at table number 28. The name of the ship that Cameron traveled on is unknown.

A passenger's coupon issued by Trans-Canada Air Lines for air passage between Stevenson Airport (now the James Armstrong Richardson International Airport) in Winnipeg, Manitoba and Malton Airport (now the Toronto Pearson International Airport) near Toronto, Ontario. The coupon was likely used by Cameron Hill to travel between airbases when he was enrolled in the British Commonwealth Air Training Plan (BCATP).

Scrapbook created by an unknown party (probably a family member or close friend) containing clippings from the Kitchener-Waterloo Record relating to local men serving in the war. Clippings describe the postings, promotions, and activities of the soldiers and officers, honours received, and news about those injured, missing, or killed. Some clippings relate to John Gartshore Martin, Wilson Alexander Martin, and Muriel Clift (fiancee of William Jamieson Martin). Some clippings are loose between pages of the scrapbook.

File consists of one page from Volume Nine, Number one, Feburary 1968 edition of the Waterloo Quarterly showing the dedication of the Dana Porter Library.

File consists of a very small number of the records of the Indian-Eskimo Association (IEA), along with a note indicating that the records from the early days of the Association (1960-1970) were donated by Mrs. W.H.Clark to the "Indian Archives at Trent University" in 1984.

Included in this file are fragmentary materials related to the IEA and its records including typescript notes describing the history and goals of the IEA, one item of correspondence relating to Indian and Northern Affairs and the work of the Canadian Association in Support of Native Peoples and its subsequent demise, a report on the second annual meeting and conference of the IEA in 1961, and a report by Clare Clark on the grand opening of Kainai Industries Ltd. (wholly owned Indian plant for the manufacture of portable prefabricated houses) at the Blood Reserve in Standoff, Alberta on July 10, 1971. Also in the file is a clipping from the Toronto Star dated July 3, 1974 reporting on the appointment of Ralph Steinhauer to the position of Lieutenant-Governor of Alberta. In light of Hon. Steinhauer's "native" background and roots this appointment is believed to have positive implications for native culture and issues according to this article.

Of note is a confidential report to the executive committee of the IEA written by Clare Clark in 1967. This report relates to a seminar on Government-Voluntary Relations sponsored by the Canadian Association for Adult Education in May 1967. A report of this seminar was originally prepared at the request of the Canadian Council on Rural Development for circulation to the executive. Clare Clark writes an additional report which aims to enlarge on the ideas discussed at this seminar and to give her own interpretation of how these ideas are relevant to the IEA. It also includes correspondence conducted between IEA. President, Martin P. O'Connell, and Clare Clark in March 1968 which relates to Clare's report which, according to Mr. Martin P. O'Connell, will be the subject of discussion at the next executive meeting

File consists of records related to the dedication of the Holy Ann Memorial Cross to Ann Preston, which formed part of the 170th anniversary events of Thornhill United Church. The cross, which was donated by Clare and Harold Clark, was dedicated by Rev. Alf McAlister during an anniversary service at this church on October 21, 1973.

Included in the file are clippings, photographs, informational booklets relating to the history of the Thornhill United Church, the order of anniversary service, a Thornhill United Newsletter (Spring issue, April 1973), and correspondence.

File consists of the correspondence and administrative records related to the purchase of land owned by Clare and W. Harold Clark, including the offer of purchase and a copy of the valuation of the property (or the Shepherd Estate). Included are sketches of a survey of lots 1, 2 &3 of the Clarks' property, reports about the land and the sale, a poster produced to advertise the auction sale of the Clarks' estate furniture, and a clipping reporting that a senior citizens' complex will be built on property adjoining Thornhill United Church.

File consists of clippings, a snapshot, typescript notes, and correspondence related to the Holy Ann Prayer Shed and Well. The majority of clippings in this file relate to the controversial property development proposed for the Thornhill site and the refusal of Elizabeth Smith, the owner of the house, to surrender it to the developer who owns the land it stands on.

The typescript notes and some of the clippings describe the life of Ann Preston, who emigrated from Ireland in 1830 and worked as a servant in Dr. Reid's family home on the Thornhill Estate, as well as the origins of Ann's Prayer Shed and Well. A photograph which appears to depict Ann's Prayer Shed is also contained in this file. Some of the correspondence contained in this file (1973) took place between Mr. and Mrs. Clark and William G. Davis, Premier of Canada, and relates to Holy Ann's cottage and Annswell, located on the on the property.

Scrapbook created by John Gartshore Martin about his experiences in WWII. Includes snapshots, newspaper clippings, ephemera, and correspondence. Snapshots were taken during John's training in Canada and his time in Europe, and show sporting events; fellow officers and soldiers; towns, buildings, and countryside in Normandy, Belgium and Holland; tanks and other equipment; a post-war ceremony; and other subjects.

Scrapbook includes a telegram from John's parents informing him of his brother Jamie's death, ts. Information relating to battles, a letter to Jessie Martin regarding John's DSO, and other items. File consists of a typescript leaf entitled "Background Information" which contains information about the date, time and venue for the fiftieth wedding anniversary of Clare and Harold Clark as well as information on those who have been invited and the names of the hosts. This anniversary celebration took place on April 29, 1979 at the Guild Inn in Scarborough and was hosted by Rosa and Spencer Clark. Copies of typescript invitation lists for this event are also included in this file.

This file also includes manuscript speech notes of Harold Clark which he prepared for the occasion of his fiftieth wedding anniversary and two typescript leaves outlining the major interests of Clare Clark under three categories - 1. Youth Work; 2. Adult Education; 3. Canada's Native People.

Also in the file is typescript tribute made by Prof. Chas. E. Hendry, Dean Emeritus, Faculty of Social Work, University of Toronto on the occasion of the golden wedding anniversary of Harold and Clare Clark in 1979.

File consists of material relating to Clare Clark's aunt, Clara Brenton (1874-1963). Included is a photograph, ephemera, biographical information, and some correspondence with Clare Clark about her aunt.
