Article "C.W.A. Meet, Waterloo, July 1st and 2nd," Saturday Globe, June 22, 1895: [1]. This article concerns the annual meet of the C.W.A. [Canadian Wheelman's Association?] to be held in Waterloo, Ont. in 1895. Joseph E. Seagram was Honorary President of the Waterloo Bicycle Club and donated a horse as a prize for this meet. The article also includes two images of the Waterloo Bicycle Club Track, as well as portraits of local individuals: D. Competition for city hall, Kitchener, Ont.

File consists of architectural drawings for the proposed Kitchener city hall, probably by W.H.E. Schmalz. The plans are dated Aug.4, 1921. Sheet one shows two elevations and one cross section. Sheet two shows six floor plans. The plans are unsigned, but thought to be by W.H.E. Schmalz based on similarity to other signed plans. A small beehive drawing is present where an architect's signature would usually be found.

A typescript draft article (twenty-seven leaves) about church, state, and school in Lax̱g̱altsʼap (formerly Lakkalsap or Greenville), British Columbia written by E Palmer Patterson. Also includes a list of additional references and a form containing comments and criticisms of the draft article written anonymously. The typescript draft article, list of references, and form were originally housed in a package titled, Nisga'a essays.

An embarkation card issued to Cameron Hill on May 11, 1945 for travel from a holding camp in Germany to England. Also includes a supplementary document titled, Appendix B, certifying that Cameron underwent a medical examination on May 13, 1945 in Bournemouth and is fit to proceed on leave and be repatriated to Canada.

A Wartime Log.

A log book published by the War Prisoners Aid of the Young Men's Christian Association in Geneva, Switzerland and given to Cameron Hill while he was a prisoner of war during the Second World War. Includes the original letter sent with the book to Cameron Hill by the Young Men's Christian Association.

Cameron filled the log book with poetry, diary entries, lists of rations, excerpts from correspondence, contact information for fellow prisoners of war that he met, and artwork completed by himself or other prisoners of war. In addition, Cameron pasted greeting cards, a photograph as well as Italian and German prisoner of war camp vouchers into the book.

Inside a pocket adhered to the back cover of the log book, Cameron stored additional items he accumulated before and after he was captured as a prisoner of war. This includes a Royal Canadian Air Force leave or pass form issued to Cameron in Halifax, Nova Scotia as well as cinema and opera house tickets for shows in England and a ticket from Iceland for an unknown event or activity. In addition, the pocket contains a Christmas card from the Vatican dated to 1942, an additional memorandum book filled with diary entries, Italian stamps, loose notes, a postal censorship slip, 1 Deutsche Mark, and a 10 Belgian franc banknote.

A berthing card and meal card issued to Cameron Hill during the Second World War likely when he traveled on a troopship sailing from Halifax Harbour in Halifax, Nova Scotia to Liverpool, England between August and September 1941.

The berthing card indicates that Cameron was assigned to cabin S22, in section 3 of the Sports deck. The meal card indicates that Cameron was assigned to eat first meal (breakfast) during the second sitting at table number 28. The name of the ship that Cameron traveled on is unknown.

Also includes a book titled, Canada's air heritage, that was likely distributed to all aircrew during the Wings Parade. The book was issued under authority of the Minister of National Defence for Air and describes the military careers and achievements of four Canadians who served with distinction in the Royal Air Force during the First World War including William Avery Bishop, William George Barker, Raymond Collishaw, and Alan Arnett McLeod.

A passenger's coupon issued by Trans-Canada Air Lines for air passage between Stevenson Airport (now the James Armstrong Richardson International Airport) in Winnipeg, Manitoba and Malton Airport (now the Toronto Pearson International Airport) near Toronto, Ontario. The coupon was likely used by Cameron Hill to travel between airbases when he was enrolled in the British Commonwealth Air Training Plan (BCATP).
