One photograph of the Budds Department Store annual picnic, held August 20, 1947. The photograph shows 82 people, including men, women, and children. The picnic attendees appear to include the owners and employees of the three Budds Department Store locations, as well as their families. The photograph was taken outside in an undisclosed location and the subjects appear relaxed and informal.

One photograph mounted on cardboard of the Municipal Council of the town of Berlin, dated 1909. The black and white photograph shows 15 adults dressed in suits and posed seated or standing in front of an ornately painted backdrop.
Among the subjects are three individuals who would later serve as mayor of Berlin or Kitchener following its 1916 name change: William Daum Euler (1914-1917), David Gross Jr. (1917-1919), and Nicholas Asmussen (1925 -1926). William Daum Euler was also elected to the House of Commons of Canada (1917) and Nicholas Asmussen to the Legislative Assembly of Ontario (1919-1926). Both represented Waterloo North, Ontario in their Federal political office.

A sound recording of an interview conducted by Dr. Anne Millar with Don Cowan, Distinguished Professor Emeritus in the Cheriton School of Computer Science at the University of Waterloo, for the Oral History Hub pilot project. The interview includes discussions about Cowan's family background, their decision to come to Waterloo and the path that brought them here, as well as their thoughts about the institution and where it will be at 100 years old, in 2057. Additional topics include computer science, IBM, Computer Science Days, math contests, WATFOR, WATFIV, MicroWAT, Centre for Education in Mathematics and Computing, intellectual property, startups, co-op, Wes Graham, Ralph Stanton, Doug Wright, Ken Fryer, Paul Dirksen, Paul Cress, and Pat Fisher. The interview was conducted virtually from Waterloo, Ontario. File also contains a transcript of the interview.

The séances were held primarily in Kitchener and Waterloo, Ontario although some were held in other areas in Ontario and the Unites States of America. Prior to donation, some of the reels were transferred to audio cassettes. The audio cassettes are also included in the collection. Also includes a cue card index to the séances and a notebook listing séances held at 362 Frederick St. in Kitchener, Ontario.
