Fonds consists of materials created and accumulate by the Women's Press Club of Toronto for the years 1976-1981 that document their organizational operations and activities. Comprised of three binders kept by members of the executive committee which include business meeting minutes, executive meeting minutes, correspondence, newsletters, and more.

Materials relate primarily to the professional life of John Herbert, from 1940 to 1981, such as his literary works; theatre advertising, programs, and photographs; correspondences to critics, fans, his agent, and others; and reviews on his works. The literary works include drafts of his plays as well as manuscripts of his short stories and poetry.

Accrual consists of material created and accumulated by members of the Maines Pincock family primarily related to séances and the occult. Includes séance notebooks, sermons, ephemera, photographs, and more.

Fonds consists of publications and ephemera issued by the Parents' Information Bureau, correspondence, biographical and autobiographical material about A.R. Kaufman in the form of clippings, reminsiscences, interviews, speeches, etc.

Fonds consists of materials created by Electrohome Limited and its predecessors and accumulated by John Koegler, the former Electrohome historian. Includes organizational and administrative records, materials relating to manufacturing, advertising materials, and photographs.

Consists of two folders of textual material and five group portraits from Wesley J. Graham's time as a student at the University of Toronto.

Accrual consists of material relating to the activities of the Waterloo law firm Haney, Haney, Kendall & Melville under various former names (including MacGachen & Colquhoun, and Colquhoun & McBride), as well as material relating to the family history of some of the firm's members.

Includes mostly deeds of land, mortgages, declarations, and correspondence; a will, a marriage contract, a birth registration, an insurance policy, a grant of burial lot, and other documents are also present. Accrual also contains two auction sale posters. Most of the documents were created in the local area, and some were created in England and Scotland.

Several files contain deeds and mortgages for Lot 9 and part of Lot 10 in the village of St. Jacobs, showing transfer in ownership from Levi Cress to Christian Henrich in 1884, through several other parties, to John L. Horst and his wife Selina Horst in 1953. Several files also contain material relating to a Fred Kempf and his property in Elmira. Some of the documents seem to have been retained for their relation to personal or family business of members of the firm.

Audio reel recordings of séances held under the supervision of medium Thomas Lacey as well as other events, messages, and music. The séances were held primarily in Kitchener and Waterloo, Ontario although some were held in other areas in Ontario and the Unites States of America. Prior to donation, some of the reels were transferred to audio cassettes. The audio cassettes are also included in the collection. Also includes a cue card index to the séances and a notebook listing séances held at 362 Frederick St. in Kitchener, Ontario.

Collection comprises materials created and accumulated by Eric Gill, as well as materials created and accumulated posthumously relating to Gill's life or by various presses in which he was involved. Includes a large collection of Gill prints and original drawings, as well as materials created by and relating to various presses with which Gill was involved or owned.

Collection consists of materials created and accumulated by Bertram R. Davis on the history of Bristol and the romantics. Includes correspondence between 164 correspondents, 45 manuscript groups, research notes, photographs, clippings, articles, offprints, excerpts, and other ephemera. Also included is a file of correspondence from Bertram donated by Kenneth Curry and a file of correspondence relating to portraits of Southey donated by Dr. Warren U. Ober.

Fonds consists of material relating to the life and career of George Elmore Reaman. His position as superintendent of the Bowmanville Training School for Boys and later of the Glen Lawrence School is represented by clippings, photographs and ephemera. His interest in a wide variety of topics, including psychology, education, agriculture and history are represented by correspondence, research files and manuscripts. Typescripts of two unpublished novels "What Sorrow Beyond Sorrows" and "Strangers on the Earth" are also present. Fonds is arranged in eight series as follows:

The Thomas Lacey séance collection accrual includes several files of séance reports that contain details regarding the sitters involved in the séance circles and messages on various topics from spirits alleged to have communicated through the medium Thomas Lacey.

Materials relating to the professional and personal life of Harry J. Byers. Includes biographical documents, including his passport and WW1 papers, ephemera, clippings and correspondence as well as approximately 270 photographs of Harry Byers and his family. Also included are photographs from Byers' time living in Russia, and a diary recounting the two years he was there.

School records including notebooks, handwritten notes, labs, exams and other items that were created or accumulated by Michael Fritsch while he was a student at the Ontario College of Pharmacy.

One kit sent to parents who were prescribed contraceptive jelly and pessaries from the Parents' Information Bureau by their doctor. Includes: one item of correspondence signed by Anna Weber, R.N.; contraceptive price list; pamphlet on birth control methods; instructions for use of pessary and jelly; better babies pamphlet.

Accounts of the German Baptist Church from 1894-1923. The volume contains lists of members, including many familiar local names, and statements of accounts. It also contains documents relating to the Benton St. Baptist Church, including annual reports and financial statements ca. 1919-1930.

Like many other Kitchener natives, E.B. Dunke seems to have purchased land in Saskatchewan, documented by one file of correspondence.

Edwin Dunke was probably the proprietor, or part owner, of Dunke and Co., a grocery store at 35 King. St. E. between Queen and Benton Streets. The "day books" of this store, complete with customers' names, purchases and store inventories reveal the daily lives, diets and purchasing patterns of local families and individuals from 1896 to 1930.

Materials relating to the history of the Schantz Russell family.

Collection consists of four files donated as part of the Sol Eisen collection of Canadiana. These items include a ms. of Mexican plays, a music manuscript, a receipt for work completed by a slave on chain gang, and materials related to the life of Frederic William Wile.

One notebook kept by Sol Eisen listing books he purchased, names of contacts, historical notes such as lists of philosopher and poets, names of people who attended Sunday School at his synagogue, timetables, definitions and more.

One scrapbook kept by an unknown theatre goer. The book is specially made for theatre performances and features in index of the plays, and a two page spread devoted to each play. The left hand side of the page allows for written comments on the title, date and location of the play as well as impressions, and criticisms of the actors and performance. The right hand side of the page is intended to be used to paste in the playbill. In many entries newspaper clippings about the performance are also present. All of the productions were held at the Castle Square Theatre in Boston by the Boston Stage Society in 1904 and 1905. There are records for 80 plays. Some of the playbills also include advertisements.

One photograph album of 91 photos from Newfoundland and Labrador, ca. 1890. The images show men and women hunting, fishing, exploring nature and visiting with Inuit communities. The photographs were taken in St. John's (showing Signal Hill, the harbour, and the city skyline), along the Humber River (at Big Falls, Steady Brook, and Bay of Islands), and in Labrador (at Nain, Cape Harrison and Hawke Harbour).

Accrual consists of materials created and accumulated by Alice Riggs Hunt and her family. Includes correspondence to and from Alice, locks of hair, and photographs. The photographs document other members of the Hunt family including her mother Mary Osgood Riggs Hunt (1860-1953) and her brother Charles Warren Hunt Jr. (1888-1953). Also present are over 500 slides documenting Charles Warren Hunt Jr.'s trip around the world.

Draft speeches written by Joseph Connell between 1963 and 1966, and audio cassettes containing recordings of some speeches and sessions delivered during the Young Men’s Christian Association’s (YMCA) annual meeting held in Halifax, Nova Scotia on June 13-17, 1984. Also includes two audio cassettes featuring a recording of the salute to Joseph Orr Connell on his retirement from the YMCA in May 1976 and one audio cassette containing a recording of remarks given by Charles Greb at the opening of a new Waterloo Family YMCA on June 10, 1971.
