Series consists of material created and accumulated in the course of the administration and operation of the MLA office in Port Carling and the role of the office in supporting the work of the association executive and committee members. Some of the files were created and maintained by Kathy Aitken, Executive Director from 1997 to 1999, and other files were possibly created and maintained by Cheryl Hallows, bookkeeper from 1996 to 1999 and Executive Assistant from 1999 to [200-], and Cheryl Watt, office assistant from 1999.
Material relates to property assessment and taxation and the group appeal to the Assessment Review Board launched by the MLA, the activities of the Political Portfolio and Safety Portfolio, as well as various other issues and events including crime and policing, safe boating, municipal elections, the antique boat show and an annual general meeting.

Roberts, Secretary Treasurer of the Grand River Conservation Commission, dating from 1942 until 1960 concerning all aspects of the organization, administration and operations of the Commission. The Secretary-Treasurer's position was where all roads crossed with one person overseeing finance and accounting; personnel; land acquisition and management; dam project management; relations with municipalities, government departments and ordinary citizens; environmental monitoring and reforestation. Includes correspondence, financial statements accompanied by supporting invoices etc., minutes, reports, clippings, land deeds, blueprints, sketches and ephemera. The early years of E.F. Roberts tenure are not well represented in these records, most likely the result of a space-saving exercise conducted at some time in the past.

The reports were submitted in fulfilment of requirements by the various federal and provincial ministries who funded or subsidized the students' employment.

File consists of architectural drawings prepared for the Westmount Construction Company. Includes mainly house plans but also some plans for an apartment building and several commercial buildings. Many of the drawings do not include the creator's name, but some were prepared by C.E. Voelker, N.O Hipel (Preston), J. Crebolder, and others. A small number of drawings were mass-produced (published in magazines).
Many drawings contain handwritten annotations; some are original plans and some are revisions to plans. The construction jobs for the Westmount Construction Company appear to have been classified as either "residential" or "miscellaneous" and in each category were generally assigned a Job # in chronological order. A log of jobs was kept and can be found in Series 4, File 250. There are duplicate drawings corresponding with many of the job numbers.
