Doerr in the 1930's, becoming his third wife and outlived him by 36 years. Edward Doerr (1865-1944) was a "shipper" and one of the founding shareholders of C.H. Doerr Co. Ltd. in 1919. He was a brother - three years older - of C.H. Doerr.
