Also includes some supporting documents including news clippings, application forms, grant agreements, press releases, typed literary biographies, handwritten notes, typed copies of book reviews written by Eric McCormack, and ephemera. This includes correspondence conducted by Eric McCormack with his publishers as well as with the editors of literary journals and anthologies to which this author has contributed his work.

Some of this correspondence was conducted with other authors, poets, and artists regarding Eric McCormack's works or their own work. Also contains correspondence with the organizers of conferences, workshops, readings/lecture series, literary festivals and other literary events in which Eric McCormack took part. Some correspondence relates to reviews of Eric McCormack's works, while other correspondence relates to reviews of other peoples' works written by him primarily for The Globe and Mail.

Additional correspondence relates to literary competitions in which Eric McCormack was invited to be an adjudicator. Applications for grants from the Canadian government, literary awards won by this author, requests for permission to reproduce Eric McCormack's works of fiction, as well as praise for this author's works from fans, form the subjects of other correspondence.

Note that the large majority of correspondence in this series consists of correspondence received by Eric McCormack, which was subsequently divided into titled folders by him. A small amount of the correspondence in this series was sent by Eric McCormack.

This series also includes materials maintained by Mary Johnston when she worked for the Waterloo County Women Teachers' Association in various capacitites including Key Teacher, President of Unit 1, as a W.C.W.T.A. Although Mackenzie King's first letters are directed towards the interests of a growing boy, over the years he stays involved in Arthur's progress through school, university and ultimately in the workplace. He mentions his own activities although often not in detail, sends thank you letters and holiday greetings. He gives Arthur advice on his career, mentions books of interest, and talks about politics, friends, family and visitors to Kingsmere.

The correspondence focus on Walter’s request for a public debate with Euler over capitalism and the economy. There are also clippings of Euler's speech which Walter references in his letters.

Series documents the management of Homer Watson’s paintings by Ross Hamilton and the Waterloo Trust and Savings Company. Consisting of correspondence between 1942 and 1949, many of the letters are addressed to Hamilton, from various galleries and museums, regarding the possible purchase or exhibition of Watson’s paintings. Other correspondence to note is a letter from the Waterloo Trust and Savings Company to Prime Minister Leslie M. Frost on displaying Watson’s work in Canada’s parliamentary buildings. There is also a letter dating to July 14, 1917 that was written by Watson’s adopted daughter, Mary Margaret.

James Downey was special advisor to the premier of New Brunswick from 1990 to 1993 and was co-chair of the Commission on Excellence in Education in New Brunswick. Series consists of company newsletters, produced and distributed for internal communications and publicity purposes. The Cobbler, published by the Greb Shoes Employees' Association, was begun in 1952. It was replaced with the Greb Newshound in 1962, and was published until [ca. 1971?]. In 1978, a new company newsletter, Greb Footnotes, was launched. Series may not include a complete run of any one publication, and some issues may be missing.

Series also includes material collected and used by John Koegler in his role as company historian, which he assumed ca. 1956.
