Scope and content

Series consists of records relating to the celebration of Electrohome's anniversaries and to the history of the company. Includes material relating to the planning, organization, and publicity of the company's 40th, 50th, 60th, 70th, 75th, and 90th anniversaries; material relating to the recording of company history; and material relating to subsidiary and other affiliated companies. Series also includes material collected and used by John Koegler in his role as company historian, which he assumed ca. 1956.

Includes correspondence, memoranda, meeting minutes, ephemera, press clippings, ms. and typed notes, photographs, speeches, programs and schedules, fliers, brochures, ms. and typed histories, and other material. Some of the anniversary-related files were likely compiled and used in the planning of subsequent anniversary celebrations.
