File contains one spiral-bound manuscript 169 leaves (photocopy), third draft: "revised version following the first playwrights' workshop and public readings at the Smile Company Studio." Includes author's note on the envelope: "Box B: one manuscript - 171 pages. B2: a play in 3 acts 'The Power of Paper Dolls' by John Herbert, 1984. The play was workshopped by the Maverick Theatre and presented in public performances at St. Paul's Community Centre in 1984, for the first time (directed by John Herbert). The second production was by the Smile company, performed at the University Alumni Theatre, Toronto, using members from the Autmn Leaf Company, 1984 (directed by Thom Sokoloski)."
