Margaret Schreiter was "Camp Mother" at Camp Tinawatawa on Paradise Lake near Waterloo, Ontario between 1952 and 1959.

[7] p. ms. text of talk presented by Margaret Schreiter to the Kiwanequeens Club re her experiences as "Camp Mother" at the Y.W.C.A.'s Camp Tinawatawa on Paradise Lake. In this talk she describes Lake Paradise, as well as the facilities and equipment of the Y.W.C.A. camp. She praises the staff of the camp. She also describes the camp program and activities. This included "Carnival Night", "Dress Up Night", the "Family Picnic", drama productions, sports, singing, and the Christian teachings and activities which are fundamental to the Y.W.C.A. camp. She also describes the duties which she had to fulfill as "Camp Mother".
