Mrs. (Bishop) Stringer is the mother of student Rowena Stringer and wife of the then Bishop of York. Mr. and Mrs. Bannerman were a couple that Dorothy boarded with while attending the Normal School and Glenny is their son. The other girls in the image are friends and classmates of Dorothy's. The second page of the section features a radio photologue by Orpheus Moyer Schantz about the proposed establishment of the Great Smokey Mountains National Park, with which Orpheus was involved. A photographic portrait of Orpheus is also present.

Five hand lettered visiting cards of Jennie Moyer, Edmund Warren Moyer, Austin Schantz, and Orpheus Moyer Schantz and F.J. Ottmax. The cards of Edmund and Jennie list them as living at 3823 Langley Ave., Chicago. The card of Orpheus and F.J. Ottmax is inscribed "A Happy New Year 1889."

The Wild Flower Preservation Society was a branch of the Illinois Audubon Society of which Orpheus Schantz was a board member.

An indenture dated December 31, 1853 at Waterloo between Christian Schantz and Abraham Weber for 1200 pounds for 195 acres of land in the lower block of Waterloo Township. Also includes a short history by Harold Russell about the lands in Kitchener-Waterloo owned by the Schantz family.
