Fonds contains three books written by Robert Forbes. They consist of ledgers dating from 1823 to 1873 and daybooks documenting Forbes' activities as a farmer and merchant dating from 1856 to 1891. Also included are three leaflets with information about postal and farmers’ schedules from the Department of Agriculture, Ontario.

Fonds consists of records documenting John Patterson's involvement with both the Muskoka Lakes Association and the Canadian Coalition on Acid Rain. Fonds is divided into two series, the Muskoka Lakes Association series and the Canadian Coalition on Acid Rain series. Fonds contains correspondence, agendas, minutes, financial reports, budgets, Muskoka Lakes Association Newsletters, Muskoka Lakes Association Yearbooks, reports, notes, advertisements, newspaper clippings, and photographs.

Manuscript report dictated by Rear-Admiral Charles Holmes for his superiors, recounting in detail the events of the Battle of the Plains of Abraham. Major-General James Wolfe captured Quebec on Sept. 13, 1759, but died on the battlefield. His opponent, the Marquis de Montcalm died the next day. Holmes dictated a detailed account of the battle and sent two copies on separate ships to the British Admiralty. This document is the second copy of that report.

Accrual consists of material relating to the history, organization and operation of Waterloo Foundation for the Advancement of Computing, Inc. from its foundation in 1974 to 1998. A large portion of the files deal with individual fellowships funded by WATFAC. Includes correspondence, reports, legal documents, financial information, electronic records (computer disks) and photographs.

Accrual is consists of textual records and architectural drawings relating to various improvements and renovations of the Westmount Golf and Country Club clubhouse and golf course during the period 1963 to 1999. In particular, the records focus upon the activities and deliberations of the Long Range Planning Committee and its subcommittees as it established a facilities plan for major renovations between 1992 and 1999. Closely related to these activities are records documenting membership issues including surveys and Membership and Fees Sub Committee minutes and reports.

Includes as well, materials relating to the activities of the Ladies Curling Committee; records documenting the planning of the du Maurier Classic L.P.G.A tournament, 1990; club newsletters; and miscellaneous publications.

The fonds consists of material relating to the history and operation of the Westmount Golf and Country Club in Kitchener, Ont. from its beginnings in 1929-1930 to 2000. Original documents include Board of Directors and other committee minutes, financial statements, tournament planning files, publications and ephemera as well as photographs and slides. The bulk of the fonds consists of manuscripts and other material gathered and prepared in for the publication of a 50th Anniversary history, Westmount Golf and Country Club, published in 1981.

Included are include correspondence, minutes and reports, financial records, publications, ephemera, scrapbooks, sound and moving image material, artifacts, and other material created or received in the course of business. The fonds includes material relating to the organization, management and results of yearly campaigns, as well as material relating to the allocation of funds to member agencies. Information about member agencies is present as well and includes their financial reports and ephemera. Publications issued by local, provincial and other social service agencies and United Ways help provide a context for understanding the larger framework within which the local organization functions.

Accrual consists of copy prints and negatives of a library staff Christmas party at St. Paul's made at the request of Murray Shepherd because the originals hanging in the Library Office were deteriorating. Staff identification keys and reproduction work order forms included in file.

File consists of the diary of Talmon Henry Rieder for the year 1903. Diary kept in ink in printed diary. Includes cash account at the end of the diary on pages marked "Memoranda."

Letter from Jacob Anthes to his parents, Martin and Catharine. He shares that everyone with the exception of Sara is healthy, but that she's still going to school. He says the family is in good spirits and are speaking English well. Martha is noted as having a difficult time knowing how to cook and that until they got some new potatoes she had been relying on bread and coffee, though Anthes emphasizes that they're still better off than many others. He provides updates about the prices for various crop yields explaining that the buyers are still figuring out how things should work and that he'll rely on credit if need be to get by. Martin and Catherine are also provided updates about the building Jacob is working that is described as 42x50 with arched windows and a small tower. He concludes by noting the help of S. Eby and Mr. Gilger before asking asking Wolf is getting along.

File consists of the pocket diary of Talmon Henry Rieder for the year 1901. Kept predominantly in ink, the entries frequently includes brief comments about the weather and his mood, and often includes cash account notes at the end of diary pages. No entries were logged between January 10, 1901 and April 6, 1901.

The identification page near the front of the diary partially filled out by Rieder indicates he was 24 years, with a dark complexion and weighed 134 pounds. Also included are entries regarding the sizes of his shoes, collar, cuffs, hat, shirt, gloves and underwear.

Topics of note are his burgeoning relationship with Martha Anthes, frustrations with Albert Liborius Breithaupt, business dealings with a variety of contacts including the Kaufmans, and his activities with the church-based Young People's Alliance.

Letter from Jacob Anthes to his parents, Martin and Catharine, regarding the death of Magtalena Buesch. Includes reference to Little Lievei being seriously sick and at risk of dying like sister Lena. Anthes concludes by noting that he continues to have
considerable pain" in chest following a severe cold.
