Material created or accumulated by Andrew Telegdi during his tenure as a Member of Parliament related to a project focused on eco-planning and environmental management in coastal communities in China that received funding from the Canadian International Development Agency (CIDA). Records include a project proposal prepared by Dr. Geoff Wall, Program Director and David Johnston, President of the University of Waterloo and correspondence confirming funding approval. Also contains material related to the formal announcement of CIDA funding for the project held at the University of Waterloo on January 15, 2002 including an event schedule, news release, and Telegdi’s speaking notes. Audio cassettes with recordings of interviews Donald Cowan likely participated in recounting the history of computer science at the University of Waterloo.
