Collection consists of 169 19th century American photographs. Included are 115 carte-de-visites, 40 cabinet portraits, 2 albums, 11 miscellaneous photographs and 1 envelope of miscellaneous business and greeting cards.
The photographs vary in size, but many of are 1 x 1 cm and mounted on card. Most are albumen type photographs depicting various people including infants, children, and adults. The photographs come from various studios across the United States though the majority come from studios in New York, Vermont, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Illinois. The photographs, since rehoused, were originally housed in two albums decorated with an intricate relief on the cover and a metal clasp lock.

Contains clippings from February 1940 regarding Leavine’s nomination by the National Government Candidate to contest the Waterloo North riding in the upcoming federal election. One clipping provides biographical information about Leavine including his parentage, education, and details about his medical and political careers. Most of the clippings report on the election campaign conducted by Leavine, documenting his proposals for change should he be elected. Other clippings consist of campaign advertising urging voters in the North Waterloo riding to support Leavine. Also included is an undated clipping reporting that Ald. Alfred Mustin, the labor-C.C.F candidate contesting the North Waterloo riding, had withdrawn from the race.

A berthing card and meal card issued to Cameron Hill during the Second World War likely when he traveled on a troopship sailing from Halifax Harbour in Halifax, Nova Scotia to Liverpool, England between August and September 1941.
The berthing card indicates that Cameron was assigned to cabin S22, in section 3 of the Sports deck. The meal card indicates that Cameron was assigned to eat first meal (breakfast) during the second sitting at table number 28. The name of the ship that Cameron traveled on is unknown.

File consists of a scrapbook created by Keffer during the time he lived in Berlin and containing primarily newspaper clippings and personal correspondence. Clippings are mainly from German and American newspapers and relate to national and international news; some clippings also relate to the F.W. Woolworth Co. in Germany and in Canada and to personal interests (e.g. a Keffer reunion, a Berlin theatre performance the Keffers attended, etc.). The correspondence includes three letters each from Norman Schnieder and from Keffer's sister Ellie [last name unknown] as well as several letters from colleagues at Woolworth's and other friends. Some of the letters are addressed to Ivan and Mary Keffer and address the death in 1932 of Ivan Keffer's father.
The scrapbook also contains copies of several letters and a certificate from the National Socialist German Workers Party pertaining to the Woolworth Co. in Germany, several internal memoranda relating to the operation of the company, ephemera, and an inventory of Keffer's furniture and household items for customs purposes.

Also contains booklet Marriage welfare : some facts about birth-control by Reverend Alfred Henry Tyrer which acted as promotional material for the book Sex, marriage and birth control. Booklet includes sections: Birth-control, the population problem, definition of birth-control, birth control and war, mothers who die in child-birth, infant mortality, birth control vs. infanticide, birth-control vs. abortions, birth-control vs. degeneracy and disease, birth-control vs. prostitution, economics and birth-control, divorce, religion and birth-control, the present status of birth-control, a prairie marriage.
Materials were enclosed in an envelope sent from Ontario on July 10, 1941, and with a letter addressed to Steve E. Chorney from Ranfurly (Alberta) acting as an introduction to the publications and explaining their importance.

A passenger's coupon issued by Trans-Canada Air Lines for air passage between Stevenson Airport (now the James Armstrong Richardson International Airport) in Winnipeg, Manitoba and Malton Airport (now the Toronto Pearson International Airport) near Toronto, Ontario. The coupon was likely used by Cameron Hill to travel between airbases when he was enrolled in the British Commonwealth Air Training Plan (BCATP).

One receipt is possibly for a hotel room or a similar accommodation also dated May 29, 1945.

Clippings regarding Leavine’s nomination as the Progressive Conservative Candidate for Waterloo North as a representative of the Drew Government in the June 4, 1945 election. Some of the clippings report on Leavine’s election campaign, documenting his proposals for change in the event of him being elected. Other clippings consist of campaign advertising urging voters in the North Waterloo riding to support Leavine. Another clipping relates to Leavine's second nomination within five months to run as Progressive Conservative candidate in the Waterloo North constituency - this second election was necessitated by the elevation of Hon. W.D. Euler to the Senate. Leavine accepted the nomination and opposed Louis. O. Breithaupt, the North Waterloo Liberal candidate. Also included is a clipping containing the speech made by Alfred Mustin, President of U.R.W.A. Local 67, endorsing Leavine as a friend of Labour, not as a Conservative. The transcript of this speech was placed in the press by the Leavine Campaign committee and likley forms part of the election advertising from the second Leavine campaign in 1945.

The insignia is circular with an embroidered white background, blue border, and two red capital letter A's in the centre.
