Material accumulated from the Canadian Bar Association - Ontario, Continuing Legal Education seminar "Computer law for the practitioner" held on Friday November 28, 1986 in Toronto, Ontario. Includes the contents of a binder given out to participants that is sorted into the following categories (tabs): Understanding the Basics, Contracts, Financing, Distribution and Marketing, Legal Protection, Software Escrow Agreements, and Tax Considerations. This event was held to nominate a candidate to represent the Liberal Party in the riding of Kitchener-Waterloo in the 2000 Canadian federal election. The speaker and special guest of the event was Shelia Copps, Member of Parliament representing Hamilton East and Minister of Canadian Heritage. The flyer features a picture of Andrew Telegdi on the front and a form for individuals to submit if they wanted to participate in Telegdi’s subsequent election campaign on the back.
