Community activities.

File consists of 13 photographs relating to events and activities in the Kitchener-Waterloo community in which Electrohome or CKCO-TV (Central Ontario Television Limited) played a role. Includes photographs of CKCO-TV camera operators and commentators at Queen Elizabeth's visit to Canada in June, 1973, and of W.D. McGregor being presented to Her Majesty; photographs of Prime Minister Trudeau visiting the CKCO-TV studio and meeting Carl A. Pollock; and photographs of Miss Oktoberfest, John A. Pollock presenting a cheque, and other subjects. File also includes a letter, a memorandum, and a typed news story outline about the Royal Visit.

File consists of photographs orignally in an album created to illustrate the history of CAP Communications and CKCO-TV. Subjects of photographs include: television production equipment and facilities, television personalities on set, special events (including a visit from Pierre Elliott Trudeau in 1968, the extension of highway 401 to Kitchener ca. 1960, and the Queen's visit to Kitchener in 1959), and studio technicians at work. Some photographs include identification on verso and some include typed captions.

File contains a one leaf manuscript of the poem "The funeral of Pierre Trudeau" written by John Herbert, dated October 3, 2000. Includes author's note on the envelope: "Box E: John Herbert archives at the Porter Library, University of Waterloo. E13: one poem by John Herbert - Enclosed: one handwritten copy: 'The Funeral of Pierre Trudeau' October Third, 2000. Note: J.H.'s poem was written at the end of that long and moving day."
