The negatives depict the royal couple at the Canadian National Railway (CNR) station in Kitchener boarding the royal train for the tour. Most of the negatives depict the Queen and Prince Philip waving from the back of the Caboose. The Krug Furniture factory in downtown Kitchener can be seen in the background.

Included are shots of the Queen signing a guest book on stage as well as receiving gifts from the cities of Kitchener and Waterloo. The Concordia’s choir and the Dutch Boy Cadets are also seen singing and playing music during the event.
