It reads: "The Corporation of the City of Kitchener: award of merit. The mayor and council of the Corporation of the City of Kitchener gratefully award this certificate to N.C. Schneider in recognition of outstanding effort, interest and ability, freely given in the service of the City of Kitchener and its many citizens.
