File consists of material relating to the case of Charles Dopp vs. The Municipal Council of the City of Kitchener, heard before the Supreme Court of Ontario in May, 1927. Dopp, on behalf of himself and the inhabitants of Kitchener, applied for an injunction to prevent the City from erecting a water tower on St. George Street in Kitchener, which was authorized by the Kitchener Water Commission.
Includes carbon copies of legal documents relating to the case, handwritten notes, press clippings, and a letter. Marcel Pequegnat, superintendent and clerk of the Kitchener Water Commission, received a subpoena as part of the proceedings. The water tower was constructed as planned.
