Voucher register.

File consists of one voucher register for The Kaufman Rubber Company, Ltd. The register does not list vouchers, but was used for listing cutting room scrap percents for various types of fabric. Inside the front cover is pasted a list of standard calendered stocks. Note that calendered stock are fabrics that have a rubber sheet pressed into them.

Uniform accounting manual for the rubber manufacturing industry.

File consists of the uniform accounting manual for the rubber industry, published by the Rubber Manufacturers Association. The manual was published in 1934 and gives information on costing, sales and expense for the rubber industry. Inset into the book are:

  1. Standard costs for the rubber manufacturing industry: a supplement to the uniform accounting manual for the rubber manufacturing industry;
  2. two tss. of Report for the Canadian Rubber Footwear Manufacturers re. cost by Jenkins and Hardy. One report has minutes from the Canadian Rubber Footwear Manufacturers meeting inset;
  3. a costing memorandum;
  4. The Rubber Association of American accounting department report on costing methods for manufacture of footwear;
  5. correspondence from the Deputy Minister of Munitions and Supply regarding sub-contracted prices;
  6. two Kaufman Rubber memorandums;
  7. one advertisement for "Simplified Cost Records for Rubber Manufacture."

File consists of two metal key tags. Both read "return to Kaufman Rubber Co. Kitchener Ontario." The tags are attached to a piece of paper that reads "58 Austin or? from my key ring." One tag is stamped on the back "GO" and the other "GMC5."
