Enclosed: incomplete and unedited pieces for a memoir to be titled 'Writing in the Sand' by John Herbert, herein: 167 pages. Note: there are many more and other manuscripts by J.H. to be added to this one, to complete a workable memoir, eventually. Others will follow to join this one in the U of W collection. J.H. has read several publicly, 1980-2000."
