File consists of two letters written by George J. Davison, father of Norman M. Davison. The first is to his father announcing the birth of Norman Montgomery Davison on April 26, 1877; the second (1881) describes an experiment in talking by telephone at a distance. Included in this file is a letter concerning the official birth record for N.M. Davidson.
