        General note

GA406-103_001 appeared on Page 1 of the Friday, May 19, 1972 (v. 13, n. 02) edition of the newspaper as part of the article: "Professional reputation damaged".

        General note

Photo caption from published version of GA406-103_001: "Mrs. Bess Hamilton, Curator of the university's Art Gallery, was informed early in April that her contract would not be renewed when it expires at the end of June. The "official" reason given by the administration claims the action was due to "budgetary considerations", even though Mrs. Hamilton only receives 2500 dollars annually. Recent information offers another view on this increasingly peculiar situation, information which does great harm to the administration's credibility in this case. All in all, it appears that a new person entirely without qualification is being "groomed" for her position."
