Correspondence from Kenneth H. Pearson, Vice-President, Publishing at Grolier, to E Palmer Patterson regarding a proposed series of books about Indigenous peoples in Canada. In the correspondence, Kenneth Pearson proposed that the books be published for the British Columbia Ministry of Education for the grade 4 social studies curriculum. Also includes correspondence from Jocelyn Smith, a staff member at Grolier, to E Palmer Patterson regarding an edited manuscript.

Additionally contains manuscript notes and typescript draft chapters of a book titled, "The Haida: People of the Land and Sea" by E Palmer Patterson and Nancy-Lou Patterson. Also includes photocopied curriculum documents from the British Columbia Ministry of Education.
