Includes a receipt to Greb from Charles Hartleib for the stock of the hardware store in Zurich, a press clipping about the history of the store, handwritten notes, statements from the Waterloo Bond Corporation, and typed notes by Charles E. Greb about the ledger.

These notes indicate that the ledger records transactions relating to the hardware store or the Huron Hotel (1884-1904); judgements made by Greb as a Justice of the Peace for Huron County (1906-1908); and transactions from building renovations, investments, loans, etc. (1909-1933).
