Scenes include the Queen greeting various dignitaries including the Kitchener mayor, archdeacons, reverends, and veterans. Also included are views of the surrounding area and gathered crowd, as well as the Oxlea Tower, the Kitchener's Farmers’ Market and panorama shots of the event.

File contains negatives depicting Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip's visit to Kitchener during the royal visit of Ontario in 1973. Negatives show scenes of the royal couple arriving at the Kitchener Canadian National Railway (CNR) station for their departure to London, Ontario. Included are shots of the Queen signing a guest book on stage as well as receiving gifts from the cities of Kitchener and Waterloo. The Concordia’s choir and the Dutch Boy Cadets are also seen singing and playing music during the event.
