Includes correspondence received by Mary Johnston from the F.W.T.A.O. as well as other documentation issued by this organization. Among these items are: flyers, a questionnaire, report, F.W.T.A.O. pledge of acceptance, associate membership application form, information sheet on F.W.T.A.O. services and organizational structure, on F.W.T.A.O. policy re school assistants, on the inflation restraint act (Bill 179). Also contains a list of membership questions and answers, and ts. of an address by Norman M. Goble to the F.W.T.A.O. February Conference in 1981.

Contains news clipping dated May 10, 1968 (source unspecified). One article reports that Education Minister Davis has announced that Waterloo county will not get two boards of education at least until 1970. Minister Davis says this is because he wants one or two years experience with the new system before amending the basic county plan. Another article relates to Waterloo public school teachers' salary increases, while an additional article relates to a school site swap negotiated by the Kitchener and district school board.

Parents' dissatisfaction with the state-run school system forms the focus of another article, while another article focuses on the debate surrounding methods of testing students in the subjects they study.
