They appear in costumes throughout sometimes dressed as [homeless?] people, English police officers, aristocrats, etc. Include attendees seated and standing in a large horse-drawn wagon with "The Devonshire Nabobs" painted on side; the pouring of [beer?] from a white pitcher and the stacking of used glasses; people in paddle boats, including one named "Smidgie," paddling in circles, trying to tip each other over and splashing others with water; camera pans of attendees seated and standing at various points of the event; a costumed band featuring brass instruments performing; a water hose fight; shots of adults in a life-sized [bull?] costume being led around by a butcher; views of an unidentified building, possibly at a golf course, where the event was held; attendees playing horseshoes; and people teeing off.

An audio-visual recording of an interview conducted by Dr. Anne Millar with Judi Jewinski, retired Administrative Dean at Renison University College, for the Oral History Hub pilot project. The interview includes discussions about Jewinski's family background, their decision to come to Waterloo and the path that brought them here, as well as their thoughts about the institution and where it will be at 100 years old, in 2057. Additional topics include teaching, writing and grammar, drama, English literature, Renison College, Faculty of Arts, students, poetry readings, Association of English as a Second Language Association of Ontario, English Language Institute, Centre for Teaching Excellence, Gordon Stubley Language Competency Committee, Maurice Evans, Richard “Dick” Knight, Grace Logan, Harry Tuyn, Neil Hultin, Harry Logan, Gordon Slethaug, Tanya Missere Mihas, Michael Smyth, and Switzerland. Contains one film reel that includes Dare Foods Limited television advertisements "Chocolate Chip," and "Variety." The reel includes four versions of "Chocolate Chip" and three versions of "Variety." Each version is either 30 or 60 seconds each in length. A note inside the original film canister lists Reef, "Celebration Bathroom." Two versions of "Celebration Bathroom" are listed one 30 seconds and the other 60 seconds in length.

Contains one film reel of Dare Foods Limited television advertisements. The film consists of two identical versions of "Dare Delicious," [EN] and two identical versions of "Opera," [FR]. Each film is 30 seconds in length and features white actors.

The Dare Delicious films feature a jingle with the same name. They include shots of children eating and stacking towers of cookies, hands taking cookies off of a serving plate, a tuba player, and a butler holding a plate of cookies. The films end with a child taking a bite of a cookie and stating: "Dare delicious."

The Opera films feature a French version of the Dare Delicious jingle. They include an opera starring two children singing as another child, dressed as a villain in a cape and hat, tries to steal cookies being watched by an audience eating Dare cookies. The films end with the child actors smiling at the camera and stating: "Les bons gagnent tout le temps."
