The clipping describes "Ontario's first organized flood warning system" as set up by the GRCC.

Roberts concerning a reply: "Dear Roberts, re attached Hespeler letter I have telephoned the town clerk stating the steps necessary to accomplish their objective. and suggesting they call a meeting of the interested municipalities to meet our Executive, when the matter can be thrashed out. We should encourage this."
