Loose postcards.

File consists of 212 loose postcards, including black and white and sepia-toned photographs, black and white and sepia-toned rotogravures, photochroms, and other colour prints. Postcards contain views of numerous European cities and landforms (including Binz, Potsdam, Oberammergau, Berlin, Wittenberg, Lucerne, the Rhine, and the Alps), as well as views along the Canadian Pacific Railway in British Columbia and Alberta (photographed by Byron Harmon) and the Columbia River Highway in Oregon (photographed by Cross & Dimmitt), and views of Banff, the Rocky Mountains, Stratford (Ontario), and other places and scenes. Some duplicates are present. Six postcards contain a stamp (four German, one Canadian, and one Czechoslovakian). Two postcards were sent through the mail; one from Keffer to his wife, and one from Max [last name illegible] to Keffer (in German). Six of the postcards were published by Valentine & Sons.

Material created and accumulated by Andrew Telegdi during his tenure as a Member of Parliament when he accompanied Peter Mackay, then Minister of Foreign Affairs, to Budapest, Hungary to commemorate the fiftieth anniversary of the Hungary Revolution and to participate in bilateral meetings in Warsaw, Poland between October 20-24, 2006. Records include invitations, programs, and correspondence such as a letter of welcome from Robert Hage, Canada's Ambassador to Hungary. Also includes tickets to events such as the Canada Salutes Hungary Gala in Budapest, Hungary, and a memorial publication published by the Hungarian Culture Centre Mindszenty Hall in Windsor, Ontario. In addition, the file contains a briefing book for Hungary and Poland as well as a presentation folder containing a program of events for celebrations in Hungary and other textual material.

File consists of a scrapbook kept by William John Motz with photographs and ephemera from the Canadian newspaper tour of Europe from June 6th-July 26th, 1929. The tour visited: Paris, Chester, Windsor, Versailles, The Trossachs, Amiens, Vienna, Vimy, Albert, Prague, Berlin, Brussels, The Hague, Birmingham, Ayr, Scheveningen, London, Hampton, Hever, Kenliworth, Warwick, Stratford, Chester, Wales, Blackpool, Mellrose, Edinburgh, Loch Lomond, Inversaid, Dumfries, Liverpool and others.

Film taken while touring various towns in Germany including Munich, Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Zugspitze, and Augsburg. Ivan Keffer appears at certain points and is likely the person filming Norman Schneider playing and digging in snow. The majority of the footage consists of scenic landscape views of mountain ranges and lakes taken from moving cards, trains and a gondola, as well as shots taken while stationary on a snow covered mountain and in town squares. Various architectural features, such as the Clock Tower and Hercules Fountain in Augsburg, are included as are shots of towns people and tourists, some dressed in lederhosen and others rock climbing.
