Consists of a ts. student paper titled "A report concerning the Grand River Conservation Authority," prepared by Melanie Forrest, Sharon Holder, Jeff Long, Sherry Moulton, James Canale-Parola and Harold Snider, [University of Waterloo] Planning students, contained in a binder. The report reviews the history, mandate and development of the Grand River Conservation Authority and examines its performance in the areas of water and land and resource management. Includes maps of the Conestoga, Elora Gorge, and Luther Marsh Conservation Areas, respectively.

Consists of ms. notes for a speech given to the K-W Rotary Club, August 24, 1942 by Norman Schneider regarding water flow and flood control by the Grand River Conservation Authority. Also present is a newsclipping from the Daily Record, August 24, 1942 outlining the substance of the speech. Also includes a newsclipping from the Fergus News Record, August 6, 1942 regarding the Shand Dam, and the Globe and Mail, August 20, 1957 concerning the Conestoga dam.

Consists of an issue of the periodical, Engineering Journal, Vol. XX1, no. 2 (February, 1938), devoted to flood control measures and water flow issues in southwestern Ontario, including the Grand River Water Basin. Accompanying the periodical is an Ontario Department of Planning Development memorandum from A.E.K. Bunnell to A.H. Richardson, Conservation Branch.

Also present is a photocopy of an obituary of A.H. Richardson, December 27, 1971 and a periodical article by P.C. Perry titled : "Stream Control in relation to droughts and floods," The Engineering Journal, June, 1939 : 269-274.

Includes newspaper clippings, including two articles by Hugh Templin (1966), ms. notes by an unidentified author concerning the development of the GRCC from 1931 to 1946, four negatives in an envelope labelled "Drayton: Conestogo river, May 22, 1952," an advance proof of a cover page of a publication titled : Flood Control in Southwestern Ontario, and a pamphlet by the Grand Valley Group of Engineers titled : A Plan to Grow Wealth and Eliminate Waste, 1936.
